Mr. Domenico Scala, Vice-Chairman

Domenico Scala, Vice-Chairman, was born in 1965 and is a Swiss and Italian citizen. He studied at the University of Basel and graduated with a degree in economics with a specialization in corporate finance. He also holds executive development degrees from INSEAD and London Business School. Since May 2012, he is the Chairman of the Audit & Compliance Committee of FIFA. He also acts as Senior Advisor to private equity and M&A firms. From 2007 to 2011 he was President & Chief Executive Officer of Nobel Biocare Holding AG and from 2003 to 2007 he was Chief Financial Officer of Syngenta Holding AG. From 1995 to 2003 he served in various senior leadership positions in finance at Roche Holding AG. Before joining Roche, he served as Finance Director at Panalpina Italy SpA and Senior Auditor at Nestlé SA.
